The Basics Of A Squeeze Page

There is no doubt that building a mailing list must be one of an internet advertiser’s highest concerns.  A mailing list, after all, will guarantee a responsive pool of clients for the online entrepreneur, one which he can utilize for every active campaign.

One common inquiry, still, that emerges when talking about the logistics behind building a mailing list is this: when should an internet advertiser try to get his clients’ contact information?

Should the trap device be positioned on the promotional page itself?  Wouldn’t such distract the focus of the readers?

Or must the seizure device be put on the Thank You site?  Wouldn’t such limit the budding subscribers to persons who bought the goods?

The reply seems to be this: that the capture tool be applied on the resting page itself.

Such a landing page is called a squeeze site, simply due to the reason that it seizes the contact details from the viewers.

Everytime people are directed to a particular URL, they will include a squeeze site.  The intention of the squeeze page is capture the visitors’ contact information.  The squeeze page can employ this in lots of ways:

- By giving a sample of the information that the prospect needs, inviting the visitor to sign up with the mailing list in order to get more of the said information.

- By giving something important, similar to a complimentary eBook or special account or software program, in barter for the visitor’s payment.

- By providing the hottest information about the subject matter of the website, causing it essential for the prospects to write their contact infos so that they may be contacted later on.

- By offering reductions for future promos in trade for the visitors’ contact details.

- By offering a contest with the prospects’ contact information acting as their admission forms.

A squeeze page is the top example when it comes to creating a sizable mailing list.  It’s the primary site that individuals will get to see, and the internet marketer will be able to catch his guests’ email addresses at the soonest possible time.
